Amazonas Announces Public Selection Results for Legal Residency and Prosecutor‑General Election

The Tribunal de Contas do Amazonas (TCE‑AM) released the preliminary results of the objective exam for the second public selection process of the Programa de Residência Jurídica e Contábil (PRJeC). The competition offers 30 positions – 20 for legal residency and 10 for accounting – and lists each candidate’s registration number, scores for basic and specific knowledge, and total points. Candidates who score at least 48 points overall and 36 in the specific block may contest the written‑test results, with the opportunity to file a written appeal by 11 August.

The Ministério Público do Amazonas (MPAM) opened registration for the election of the next Procurador‑Geral de Justiça for the 2026‑2028 term. Five prosecutors registered between 3 and 7 August, and the list will be reviewed in an extraordinary session on 17 August. The virtual election is scheduled for 1 September, with voting conducted through the Votus system. The elected list of three candidates will be forwarded to Governor Roberto Cidade on 2 September.
