Amazonas Legislative Assembly public contest hires FGV disability inclusion Feb 2027 convocations

On 30 July, the Assembleia Legislativa do Amazonas (Aleam) published in its Official Gazette the list of the first 29 candidates selected from the public contest held in December 2025. The contest, organized by the Fundação Getulio Vargas, offered 100 immediate‑vacancy positions – 60 for higher‑level posts and 40 for medium‑level posts – and included two people with disabilities. President Adjuto Afonso said the convocations mark a historic moment for the legislature and reaffirm its commitment to merit‑based hiring, transparency and inclusion. Director‑general Wander Motta confirmed that the first 29 appointees cover both higher‑ and medium‑level roles and noted the next round of convocations is scheduled to begin in February 2027, when the new assembly budget takes effect.

The newly convoked staff will present required documentation to Aleam’s Human Resources department and undergo medical examinations before being formally sworn in.
