Amazonas leaders support regional cultural traditions and infrastructure
Political leaders in the Amazonas region are engaging with local cultural traditions and community events. In Ribamar Fiquene, Federal Deputy Aluisio Mendes participated in the 17th Cavalgada de Sumaúma. Mendes highlighted his legislative support for the municipality, noting that between 2023 and 2026, he allocated over R$ 7 million toward health, infrastructure, and agricultural equipment.
In Manacapuru, Senator Plínio Valério visited various groups preparing for the 28th Festival de Cirandas. Valério inspected the workshops of local associations, including Flor Matizada and Ciranda Tradicional, to observe the production of allegorical modules and costumes. For 2026, the senator has designated R$ 1.5 million for the construction of three warehouses to house costumes and attire, aiming to support local artisans and the regional tourism economy.
