Amazonas police arrest two men for drug trafficking in Nhamundá

The Civil Police of Amazonas (PC-AM) and the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM) arrested two men, aged 19 and 22, for drug trafficking and association with trafficking in Nhamundá. The arrests occurred on Monday, October 26, during the execution of search and seizure warrants at two separate properties in the Centro and Santo Antônio neighborhoods.

At the first location, authorities seized portions of a substance resembling cocaine, marijuana, four cell phones, cash, and materials used for packaging drugs. At the second location, police found marijuana, cocaine, and oxi, along with six cell phones, a precision scale, cash, and a motorcycle.

In total, the operation resulted in the seizure of dozens of portions of narcotics, ten cell phones, a motorcycle, and various investigation-related items. Both suspects were taken to the 43rd Interative Police Station in Nhamundá and remain in custody.
