Amazonas Public Ministry urges Bradesco to restore ATM services in Anori

The Public Ministry of the State of Amazonas (MPAM) has issued a recommendation to Banco Bradesco S.A. to restore essential banking services in the municipality of Anori. The recommendation follows reports that the two only ATMs in the local Bradesco branch have had their withdrawal and deposit functions deactivated since May 2026.

This service interruption has forced residents to travel to other municipalities for basic banking operations, causing delays and difficulties for elderly citizens, people with disabilities, and riverine populations. The MPAM stated that the move aims to ensure effective access to essential services in an area where geographic limitations and a lack of financial institutions make service interruptions particularly sensitive.
