Brazil labor market: Job fairs, public exams, and mobile legal services
Various regional initiatives in Brazil are addressing employment and labor rights through job fairs, public service exams, and mobile legal services.
In Amazonas, the Regional Labor Court (TRT-11) is launching a mobile justice program across 11 municipalities to expand access to labor rights and legal assistance. Meanwhile, Manaus has completed the appointment of 371 health professionals following a public competition.
Job opportunities are being distributed through several channels: Guarulhos is hosting a massive job fair with over 2,000 vacancies; the Federal District is offering 740 positions through worker agencies; and Sine Manaus is providing 845 openings. In Costa Rica, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Ouro Branco, local agencies are also facilitating hundreds of vacancies across various sectors.
Educational and professional development programs are also active, such as Salvador’s ‘Marias na Construção’ program, which offers 950 vocational training spots for women in construction, and supermarket chains in São Paulo investing in training courses to combat labor shortages.
