Amazonas short film ‘3x4’ to premiere at Amazon Cinema Festival

The short film ‘3x4’, directed by Juliana Tizatto, is set in Manaus and Presidente Figueiredo. The production, which features a team of over 30 workers primarily from the Amazonas region, received support from the Ministry of Culture’s ‘Curta para Mulheres’ initiative, aimed at supporting debut female directors.

The film is scheduled to premiere at the 8th Amazon Cinema Festival – Olhar do Norte in Manaus, with a free screening at the Teatro Amazonas. Tizatto noted that while public cultural policies have shown positive results for narrative diversity, there is a need for a more decentralized distribution of resources across different regions.
