Amazonas State Comptroller advances selection for first public exam

The Amazonas State Comptroller General (CGE AM) is moving forward with its first public civil service exam, which has been anticipated since 2018. Governor Wilson Lima announced that the official notice is expected to be published in 2026, with exams potentially administered by the end of that year.

The selection process will offer 50 immediate vacancies for Internal Control Auditors. The positions are distributed across several fields: 5 for Accounting, 5 for Law, 5 for Civil Engineering, 5 for Information Technology, and 30 for other degree areas. The organizing committee has already begun market research to select the examination board, requesting commercial proposals and legislative analysis by mid-September.
