Amazon launches Bee AI wearables Frontier and Eclipse

Amazon has announced two new AI-powered wearable devices under its Bee brand, following its acquisition of the startup in 2025. The new products, Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, are designed to record, transcribe, and summarize daily conversations into actionable tasks, reminders, and insights.

The Bee Frontier, priced at $74.99, is a wearable device that can be worn on the wrist with a silicone band or clipped to clothing. It features dual microphones with noise filtering, IP67 water and dust resistance, and a battery life of up to seven days. The Bee Eclipse, priced at $99.99, is a credit-card-sized accessory that attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone. It boasts a longer battery life of over 21 days and utilizes four MEMS microphones plus a vibration microphone to capture both sides of phone calls.

Both devices integrate with the Bee mobile and desktop applications and can sync with services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple HealthKit. Amazon is also introducing a Bee Pro subscription for $11.99 per month, which unlocks advanced features like unlimited summaries, suggested to-do lists, and deeper integration with Alexa+ and Amazon.com shopping recommendations.

To address privacy concerns, Amazon states that the devices use a “Bee Private Compute” architecture. Audio is processed in real time and then deleted, while transcripts are encrypted with keys generated by the device, ensuring that Amazon cannot access the data unless the user chooses to share it.
