Ambassador Pham Thi Kim Hoa presents credentials to Sweden's King

Ambassador Pham Thi Kim Hoa has officially presented her credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, marking the commencement of her diplomatic mission.

During the reception, King Carl XVI Gustaf expressed his goodwill toward Vietnam and emphasized the importance of the traditional friendship between the two nations. He voiced his desire to see bilateral cooperation expand and deepen.

Ambassador Pham Thi Kim Hoa pledged to strengthen ties between Vietnam and Sweden by enhancing connections between government agencies, local authorities, businesses, and research and educational institutions. She also highlighted the importance of cultural exchanges and the role of the Vietnamese community in Sweden as a bridge between the two countries. This diplomatic milestone follows the establishment of a strategic partnership in science, technology, and innovation between Vietnam and Sweden in June 2025.
