Ambassador Yahya Shukri Sarhan dies in Australia

Ambassador Yahya Shukri Sarhan, the eldest son of the late Egyptian cinema icon Shukri Sarhan, has passed away in Australia.

Family spokesperson Mohsen Sarhan confirmed the news via social media, stating that arrangements are currently underway to repatriate the body from Australia to Cairo. The deceased will be buried in the family's cemetery in Egypt. The family is coordinating with diplomatic authorities to finalize legal and administrative procedures, including air freight and consular documentation.
