Ambato municipality constructs 900 new cemetery niches

The Municipality of Ambato is constructing 900 new burial niches at the San Vicente de Pishilata Municipal Cemetery to meet increasing demand. The project involves building 450 niches in two separate areas of the cemetery.

In addition to the construction, the municipality is preparing a special maintenance plan ahead of November 2, the Day of the Dead. This includes deploying cleaning, maintenance, and painting crews to ensure the municipal cemeteries are orderly and clean for visiting families.
