Ambattur man allegedly murders wife during dispute

A man in Ambattur, Chennai, allegedly murdered his wife following a dispute regarding her social media usage. The victim, Vaidehi, 34, was driving an auto-rickshaw when an argument erupted with her husband, Chinna, who was seated in the back.

The conflict reportedly escalated when Chinna confronted Vaidehi about her time spent on Instagram. During the altercation, Chinna allegedly attacked her, leading Vaidehi to stop the vehicle. He then used a knife to fatally wound her neck. Vaidehi attempted to flee the vehicle but succumbed to her injuries on the road. The suspect fled the scene in the auto-rickshaw following the incident.
