Ambedkar Nagar road accident kills 4 in Volvo bus and trailer collision
A fatal road accident occurred on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway in the Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Early Friday morning, a Volvo bus operated by Tegra Express collided with a trailer near the 85 km mark in the Jaitpur police station area.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Tejveer Singh, the collision took place around 5:30 AM. The bus was en route from Delhi to Darbhanga. Preliminary investigations suggest the accident may have been caused by the driver falling asleep at the wheel.
Emergency responders and local villagers assisted in extracting passengers from the wreckage. Medical officials confirmed that four passengers died during treatment at the Nagpur Community Health Centre, while three others were referred to the Sadarpur Medical College for advanced care. Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased and the injured.
