Amber Glenn joins ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cast

Olympic gold medalist figure skater Amber Glenn has been cast in Season 35 of ‘Dancing With the Stars’. Glenn, who won gold in the team figure skating event at the 2026 Winter Olympics, will be paired with professional dancer Pasha Pashkov.

Glenn, who identifies as pansexual, recently made history as the first openly queer woman to represent the United States in Olympic singles figure skating. Following her Olympic performance, where she also placed fifth in the individual women’s competition, she noted that she had to limit her social media use due to receiving significant online hate and threats related to her advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights.

The new season of the ballroom competition is scheduled to begin on September 15.
