Amber Uhler represents Michigan in Miss USA after major weight loss

Amber Uhler, a mother of three, is representing Michigan in the Miss USA pageant following a significant personal transformation. After weighing nearly 140 kilograms, Uhler lost approximately 77 kilograms through changes in diet and increased physical activity.

Uhler stated that her decision to change her lifestyle was prompted by an incident at a trampoline park where she became stuck in a foam pit and required assistance to get out. This experience motivated her to prioritize her health to ensure she would not become a burden to her children in the future. Beyond weight loss, Uhler aimed to regain self-confidence and pursue her long-held dream of competing in a major beauty pageant.
