Ambev launches Instituto BORA in partnership with Yunus
Ambev is transforming its BORA Hub into the Instituto BORA, a new organization managed by Yunus Negócios Sociais. The initiative aims to expand a productive inclusion ecosystem that already includes 120 members and 130 registered projects, which have collectively generated over R$ 810 million in income.
The new institute will utilize a shared governance model to mobilize capital, knowledge, and connections to support social businesses and philanthropic initiatives. A key component of this model is a collective fund that will gather resources from various companies to help overcome barriers to growth for inclusive businesses.
Additionally, the institute is introducing ‘Alma Matters,’ a group of investing institutions that will join the Advisory Council to provide strategic direction and assist in decisions regarding the allocation of fund resources.
