Ambiente trade fair expands international networking for interior design industry
The Ambiente exhibition is extending its programme under the name “Ambiente Projects”, creating new international business opportunities and durable networks for manufacturers, architects, interior designers, hospitality decision‑makers and retailers. The fair will feature a curated matchmaking system, an "Interior Design & Architecture Hub", and partnerships with global bodies such as World Architects and the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA). These initiatives aim to link producers directly with architects, interior designers, hospitality groups and overseas buyers, strengthening the fair’s role as a leading international meeting point for the interior‑design sector.
At the same time, the furniture‑design market is seeing rising interest in the “ninlay” concept, which blends traditional inlay techniques with modern materials and digital tools to offer highly personalised furniture. The approach lets consumers customise surfaces with wood, metal, glass, acrylic, leather or natural elements, meeting the growing demand for sustainable, individualised home interiors.
