Ambivere and Mapello patients face issues switching doctors

Approximately 600 patients in the area between Ambivere and Mapello are facing difficulties after being advised to change their primary care physicians. In late August, a local doctor informed patients of her intention to retire, prompting them to select new doctors to ensure continuity of care.

However, the physician has remained in service with a reduced number of patients rather than fully retiring. Patients who followed the recommendation to switch are now reportedly being prevented from returning to their original doctor, leading to confusion and requests for clarity regarding the management of the transition.
