Ambuquí opens UFO-themed tourist complex with inverted house

A new themed tourist complex named ‘Invasión Ovni’ has opened in Ambuquí, Ecuador. Inspired by local legends of unidentified flying objects and colorful lights, the resort was established by Amílcar Montenegro.

The complex features a unique inverted house where the roof sits on the ground and the two levels are built upside down. To maintain the illusion, furniture, appliances, and windows are installed in reverse, creating the sensation that everything is hanging from the ceiling.

The site also includes a 250-meter trail leading to an ‘UFO lookout’ built atop a giant extraterrestrial hand. The grounds are decorated with cosmic-themed elements, including an upside-down motorcycle and a vehicle positioned to look as though it is sliding down a slope.
