AMC announces Archive X: Unexplained Phenomena docuseries

AMC has announced the premiere of Archive X: Unexplained Phenomena, a six-part docuseries scheduled to debut on October 1, 2026, on SundanceTV, AMC+, and All Reality. Hosted by Professor Jeffrey J. Kripal, a scholar of extraordinary human experiences, the series utilizes research from Rice University’s Center for the Impossible.

The program explores various paranormal topics, including UFO encounters, alien abductions, telepathy, near-death experiences, and prophetic dreams. It features personal accounts from individuals who have not previously spoken publicly, alongside archival evidence spanning nearly a century. The series also incorporates the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John E. Mack and author Whitley Strieber to investigate the potential connections between these diverse mysteries.
