AMC announces Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven premiere date

AMC has announced that the third season of its series based on Anne Rice’s novels, titled ‘Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven’, will premiere on December 30, 2026. The announcement and a new trailer were unveiled during a panel at New York Comic Con.

This new season shifts the setting from New Orleans to Salem, Massachusetts. The storyline will follow Rowan Fielding, played by Alexandra Daddario, as she explores the origins of her powers and encounters new witch families. Showrunners Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz indicated that the season will include more action and elements that deviate from the original book trilogy to shake up the narrative.

New cast members joining the series include Betsy Brandt, Eliza Scanlen, Michiel Huisman, James Frain, and Omar Maskati. Returning cast members include Harry Hamlin and Tongayi Chirisa. The season is expected to delve deeper into the show’s mythology and the consequences of an ancient prophecy.
