AMC renews Interview with the Vampire for a fourth season titled Queen of the Damned

AMC Interview with the Vampire Queen of the Damned Hannah Moscovitch San Diego Comic‑Con

AMC Global Media announced at the San Diego Comic‑Con Hall H panel that its supernatural drama Interview with the Vampire has been renewed for a fourth season. The new season will be titled Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned, adapting the third novel in Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. Hannah Moscovitch, a writer on the first two seasons, will serve as showrunner, joining executive producers Mark Johnson and Rolin Jones. The renewal follows the season‑three finale, The Vampire Lestat, which concluded with a cliffhanger and introduced Akasha, played by Sheila Atim. A teaser released at the panel features Akasha’s rallying speech. Cast members returning include Jacob Anderson (Louis), Sam Reid (Lestat), Assad Zaman (Armand), Eric Bogosian (Daniel Molloy) and Sheila Atim (Akasha). No official release date has been set.
