The tournament features 20 teams competing for a $1.2 million prize pool, with the winner taking home $300,000. The broadcast is expected to last approximately eight hours. To replicate the digital experience found on platforms like Twitch, AMC is providing commemorative tickets that include codes for fans to redeem digital drops.

Ellen Copaken, SVP of Business Development for AMC Theatres, stated that the initiative aims to use the movie theater experience to bring people together for shared live esports events.
