AMC+ to host complete Walking Dead franchise in 2027

AMC+ will host the complete ‘Walking Dead Universe’ collection starting January 7, 2027. The collection will include 371 episodes, encompassing the original series and all six spin-off series, such as ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, ‘Daryl Dixon’, ‘Dead City’, ‘The Ones Who Live’, ‘The Walking Dead: World Beyond’, and ‘Tales of the Walking Dead’.

This move is part of a five-year, $500 million licensing deal between AMC Global Media and Netflix. Under this agreement, the franchise will be available as a co-exclusive on both platforms. This marks the first time the original ‘The Walking Dead’ series will be available to stream on AMC+ since Netflix held the U.S. streaming rights exclusively starting in 2011.
