AMC's Interview with the Vampire shifts focus to Lestat

AMC is transitioning its Anne Rice franchise into a new chapter with the third season of ‘Interview with the Vampire,’ titled ‘The Vampire Lestat.’ The new season shifts the narrative perspective from Louis de Pointe du Lac to Lestat de Lioncourt, moving away from the previous seasons' somber, gothic tone toward a more high-energy, rock-inspired aesthetic.

Amidst the show's production, attention has also turned to lead actor Sam Reid, who plays Lestat. Reid has been in a long-term relationship with Australian actress Philippa Northeast. The couple, who previously worked together on ‘Standing Up for Sunny’ and ‘The Newsreader,’ have maintained a private romance since approximately 2018.
