AMD and Lenovo‑NVIDIA Partnerships Accelerate AI Hardware Deployment

AMD is expanding its AI‑inference strategy by bundling its new Helios rack system, ROCm software stack and server‑CPU portfolio into a single solution for data centres. CEO Lisa Su announced a deal with OpenAI that could give AMD up to a 10 % stake in exchange for supplying graphics processors delivering a total of 6 GW of compute power, and noted similar agreements with Anthropic and Microsoft.

Lenovo and NVIDIA have launched a hybrid AI package called “Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage with NVIDIA” aimed at cutting the time‑to‑first‑token for generative‑AI models. The solution combines NVIDIA H200 GPUs with Lenovo’s liquid‑cooling technology and offers pre‑orders across Asia, Europe and North America, with deliveries slated for Q4 2026. The partnership also includes a sovereign AI infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia, supporting the kingdom’s Vision‑2030 goals.
