AMD expands Ryzen 7000 series with new AM5 processors

AMD is expanding its Ryzen 7000 series lineup on the AM5 platform with new processor specifications. The Ryzen 7 7700X features 8 cores and 16 threads based on the Zen 4 architecture, offering boost clock speeds up to 5.4 GHz. It includes an integrated Radeon graphics unit and supports DDR5 memory with a maximum capacity of 128 GB. The chip has a standard TDP of 105W.

Additionally, reports indicate the upcoming Ryzen 5 7500, which is expected to feature 6 cores and 12 threads. This model is anticipated to have a base frequency of 3.7 GHz, a boost frequency of 5.0 GHz, and a 65W TDP. Unlike the 7500F, the R5 7500 is likely to include integrated Radeon graphics and may be sold as a boxed version including a cooler.
