AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 9965X3D appears at European retailers
The AMD Ryzen 9 Pro 9965X3D has begun appearing as an individual product through European retailers, such as ProShop in Germany. Previously, this processor was primarily available only within pre-built workstations.
Based on the Zen 5 architecture, the CPU features 16 cores and 32 threads, with a boost clock of up to 5.5 GHz. It includes 128 MB of L3 cache via 3D V-Cache technology and supports DDR5-5600 memory and 24 PCIe 5.0 lanes.
Unlike consumer models, the Pro version is factory-locked, meaning it does not support overclocking or tools like Precision Boost Overdrive. It is priced at approximately €997, which is roughly 72% higher than the standard Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This premium price reflects integrated enterprise features, including hardware-based security and remote management capabilities like DASH administration.
