AMD increases Radeon RX 9000 series GPU prices by up to 20%
AMD has officially increased the recommended retail prices for its Radeon RX 9000 series GPUs, with some price hikes reaching up to 20%. The Radeon RX 9070 XT saw the most significant increase, rising from 830 dollars to 1037 dollars.
Other adjustments include the Radeon RX 9070 increasing by 7.14% to 830 dollars, and the Radeon RX 9070 GRE rising by 13.05% to 680 dollars. In the mainstream segment, the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB increased by 16.28% to 637 dollars. These price adjustments affect the entire RDNA 4 lineup as well as certain older models still in production.
The price increases are attributed to memory shortages and rising supply chain costs. While these adjustments are currently visible in the Chinese market, analysts expect the impact to reach Western markets within weeks, following a similar pattern previously seen with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 series.
