AMD’s leaked Medusa Point engineering sample, a 10‑core/20‑thread Zen 6‑based APU, posted a Geekbench single‑core score of 3,329 and a multi‑core score of 16,555. Compared with the Zen 5‑based Strix Point (Ryzen AI 9 365), the single‑core result is about 35% higher and the multi‑core result roughly 9% higher. The sample reached a clock speed of 5.37 GHz, roughly 300 MHz above the fastest Strix Point chips. These figures follow earlier leak results that already showed a 29% advantage, indicating AMD is aiming for a larger performance uplift before the official launch expected in the coming months.
