AMD Radeon RDNA-4 graphics cards face restricted testing and regional availability

The Radeon RX 9070 GRE has reached European markets following an earlier release in China. Discussions regarding the card focus on its performance capabilities and its suggested retail price of 559 euros, with some observers comparing its value proposition against competitors like the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070.

In contrast, the Radeon RX 9050 was released in late July 2026 without official press releases or review samples provided to Western media. The Australian tech channel Hardware Unboxed managed to obtain a unit through unofficial side channels after AMD reportedly instructed partners not to provide cards to independent testers. Due to the nature of the acquisition, the benchmark testing was conducted without visual documentation of the card or its packaging. AMD's regional distribution for the RX 9050 has primarily targeted Asia-Pacific, Japan, and Latin America, notably excluding Australia and Korea from its primary launch markets.
