AMD Radeon RX 9000 series facing price hikes in China

AMD is reportedly implementing price increases for its Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards in the Chinese market for the third quarter. The adjustments are driven by significantly rising costs for memory components and other semiconductor materials.

The most substantial increase affects the Radeon RX 9070 XT. Reports indicate its suggested retail price in China could rise to 6,999 RMB, representing a 40 percent increase from its original launch price of 4,999 RMB. This new price point is notably higher than the initial US launch price of 599 USD.

Other models in the lineup are also seeing upward adjustments. The Radeon RX 9070 is expected to see a price increase of approximately 24 percent compared to its launch price, while the Radeon RX 9070 GRE and the RX 9060 XT series are also subject to various hikes ranging between 5 and 20 percent.
