AMD Radeon RX 9050 performance tests and Logitech G PLAY 2026 announcement

Testing of the AMD Radeon RX 9050 4 GB variant, an OEM-exclusive model, has revealed significantly lower performance compared to its 8 GB counterpart. Analysis by Hardware Unboxed indicates that the 4 GB version is not merely a lower-memory model but features a reduced 64-bit memory bus and a cut Infinity Cache of 16 MB, down from 32 MB. These hardware limitations resulted in performance gaps of approximately 47% to 53% in titles such as Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light during 1080p testing.

Separately, Logitech has announced its Logitech G PLAY 2026 event, scheduled for September 23, 2026. Under the theme ‘Play For The Breakthrough’, the Swiss company plans to unveil 15 new products, including mechanical keyboards, optical mice, high-fidelity headsets, and competitive simulation accessories. The announcements are expected to focus on wireless devices with advanced sensors and low polling rates for both casual gamers and content creators.
