AMD Ryzen AI APU benchmark scores appear online

Benchmark data for AMD's new Gorgon Halo APU, marketed as the Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, has been posted to the Geekbench 7 database. The processor, tested in an HP ZBook Ultra G3a with 96 GB of RAM, recorded 2,593 points in the single‑core test and 26,816 points in the multi‑core test, running at a boost frequency of 5.207 GHz. The APU features 16 cores, 32 threads, a 3.1 GHz base clock and integrated Radeon 8065S graphics based on the RDNA 3 architecture.

A separate PassMark entry lists a processor identified as AMD Ryzen 9 3950H Edition, which does not match any official AMD product. The listed specifications – six cores, six threads, 3 MB L2 cache, 8 MB L3 cache and a 2.37 GHz base clock – align closely with the older Ryzen 5 4500U mobile APU. Scores of 8,700 (multi‑thread) and 1,730 (single‑thread) suggest the entry is likely a mis‑named or OEM‑customized sample of the Ryzen 5 4500U rather than a new Ryzen 9 model.
