AMD Ryzen AI processors power new mini PC and portable gaming devices

New hardware featuring AMD’s Ryzen AI processors has been announced for both mini PC and portable gaming markets.

VZMORE has launched the AX9 Max, a compact mini PC designed for productivity, AI workloads, and gaming. The system is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 processor and Radeon 890M integrated graphics, featuring a Ryzen AI NPU rated at up to 55 TOPS. The device supports up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM and includes multiple M.2 storage slots. It offers three power modes—Silent, Balanced, and Performance—to manage thermal output and noise.

In the portable gaming sector, the OneXPlayer X2 mini Pro is being released. Developed by One-Netbook Technology, this 8.8-inch handheld features an AMOLED display and utilizes the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor with Radeon 8060S graphics. The device employs a 3-in-1 design with detachable controllers and a detachable battery, aiming to provide performance comparable to desktop discrete GPUs while supporting local AI processing and creative tasks.
