Valve, Maxtang and other makers roll out new mini PC models

Valve announced its Steam Machine, a compact PC built on AMD Zen 4 and RDNA 3 with SteamOS 3, targeting living‑room gaming. The device will be sold via a random‑draw reservation system after supply‑chain delays pushed the initial early‑2026 launch to the summer.

NiPoGi introduced two mini PCs. The AM06PRO in Spain ships with an AMD Ryzen 5 7430U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Windows 11 and a price of €399. In Japan, the entry‑level P1 7330U model, powered by a Ryzen 3 7330U, offers 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and a discounted price of ¥39,998 through a coupon code.

Maxtang released the ultra‑compact MUC‑FP551 series, a 112.4 mm cube available with Ryzen Embedded R2314 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500U processors, aimed at digital signage and embedded applications, with prices ranging from ¥61,800 to ¥89,800. The same company also launched the T1‑FP550 mini PC, featuring dual 2.5 GbE LAN, a choice of five AMD “Picasso” CPUs and a 127 × 127 × 50.5 mm chassis for industrial and edge‑computing use.

GEEKOM’s IT13 Max, sold in Japan for ¥129,900, integrates an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, 24 GB onboard RAM, dual 2.5 GbE ports, USB 4 and a 0.9 L metal case, targeting high‑performance compact desktops. A related review highlighted its extensive I/O and AI‑ready features.

GMKtec announced the EVO‑X1 Pro mini PC, equipped with a Zen 5‑based Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 (12 cores/24 threads), 64 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and dual 2.5 GbE, priced from $1,599 and supporting external GPU via OCulink.

These releases collectively expand the mini PC market with a range of performance tiers, form‑factors and pricing across Europe, Japan and the United States.
