AME Ivaiporã records 13,600 consultations in Vale do Ivaí

The Medical Specialty Outpatient Clinic (AME) in Ivaiporã has reported significant healthcare output since its inauguration on September 9. The facility has conducted over 13,600 medical consultations and 52,500 exams and procedures.

The project received an investment of approximately R$ 18 million from the State Government through the Health Secretariat (Sesa). This funding included R$ 13.5 million for the construction of the 2,600-square-meter building and R$ 5 million for climate control systems, equipment, and furniture.

Designed as a Type II unit, the clinic provides 22 medical specialties. It focuses on strategic care lines, including services for pregnant women, infants, elderly patients, mental health, and individuals with hypertension or diabetes. The facility aims to reduce the need for long-distance travel for specialized care in the Vale do Ivaí region.
