Amelinghausen hosts Heideblütenfest and upcoming Heath Queen election

The annual Heideblütenfest is taking place in Amelinghausen, a nine-day celebration in the Lüneburger Heide region. The event is expected to draw thousands of visitors and features various activities, including music shows, an open-air cinema, a laser show at Lopausee, and a flea market.

A central highlight of the festival is the election of the 76th Heidekönigin (Heath Queen) on August 23. The current queen, Emma Kremer, will conclude her term after approximately 120 appearances representing the region. The new queen will be responsible for roughly 100 representation engagements across the Samtgemeinde and the Lüneburger Heide district.
