AMEPIP investigates harassment allegations at state-owned company
The Agency for Monitoring and Evaluating the Performance of Public Enterprises (AMEPIP) has launched an investigation into a state-owned company following allegations of workplace misconduct. Multiple employees filed complaints regarding potential sexual and moral harassment.
The harassment commission within AMEPIP has completed its report, which has been forwarded to the agency's leadership for evaluation. While the investigation is ongoing, AMEPIP noted that the existence of an inquiry does not itself constitute a confirmation of wrongdoing. The agency stated it is handling the matter with responsibility, adhering to legal frameworks, confidentiality, and the right to defense.
