America PAC accused of spreading inaccurate voting information

Election officials in Colorado and Washington have issued warnings regarding inaccurate voting information being distributed by America PAC, a super PAC tied to Elon Musk.

In Colorado, voters received text messages claiming their ballot requests had been submitted and prompting them to confirm return details. However, officials noted that all active registered voters in the state automatically receive mail ballots, leading to confusion and inquiries from residents concerned about unauthorized requests.

America PAC has defended its actions on X, suggesting that officials in Washington state were attempting to ‘suppress’ voter registration by criticizing the group's activities. Musk, who was a major donor in the 2024 federal election, is reportedly directing significant funds toward efforts to help the GOP retain control of Congress.
