American Airlines and Condor announce interline partnership

American Airlines and German carrier Condor have announced a new interline agreement designed to enhance transatlantic connectivity. Under this partnership, passengers can book entire journeys involving both airlines on a single ticket.

Key benefits for travelers include seamless onward connections, check-in for the complete itinerary, and through-checked baggage to the final destination. The agreement allows Condor passengers to access American Airlines’ extensive network via gateways in Boston, Los Angeles, and New York (JFK), with Chicago (ORD) connectivity expected to begin in May 2027 following the resumption of Condor’s Frankfurt-Chicago route.

Conversely, American Airlines customers will be able to connect through Frankfurt and Munich to Condor’s European and international destinations. This cooperation complements Condor’s existing partnerships, such as its long-standing relationship with Alaska Airlines.
