American Airlines and JFK lead 2026 U.S. flight deal rankings

The travel platform Going has released its 2026 rankings for the best U.S. airports and airlines for flight deals.

In the airline category, American Airlines secured the top spot for domestic deals, attributed to its extensive network of over 45,000 routes. Delta Air Lines followed in second place, with Southwest, United, Alaska Airlines, and JetBlue rounding out the top six. The report noted that while American leads in volume, competition among the major carriers remains high.

Regarding airports, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) ranked first for flight deals using points and miles, driven by high-value redemptions on international carriers. Other top-ranked airports include Boston (BOS) for European travel, Los Angeles (LAX) for Australian connections, and Chicago (ORD) for Tokyo-bound flights. Miami (MIA) was noted as a significant mover on the list due to its strong availability for business-class deals and coverage in Latin America and the Caribbean.
