American Airlines reverts airport name on boarding displays

American Airlines has removed references to President Donald J. Trump from its boarding-gate displays at West Palm Beach.

Following the July renaming of Palm Beach International Airport to President Donald J. Trump International Airport, American Airlines had updated its gate monitors to include an abbreviated presidential reference, such as 'Pres DJT, W Palm Beach'. Aviation observers noted on November 4 that the displays have since returned to the standard 'West Palm Beach, FL' labeling, marking a reversal of the change just four months after it was implemented.
