Anglo American Posts H1 2026 Profit Rise as Others Reveal Quarterly Results

Anglo American plc reported higher first‑half profit and cash generation, driven by stronger copper prices, by‑product credits and cost control. EBITDA rose 31% to $4.1 billion and earnings per share to $0.58, with a $0.23 dividend per share. The company is progressing on a planned merger with Teck that could create Anglo Teck later this year or early next year, subject to regulatory approval.

American Assets Trust, Inc. posted second‑quarter 2026 net income of $5.2 million ($0.09 per share) and an FFO of $0.51 per share, slightly below the prior year. The firm achieved record average rental rates across office, retail and multifamily segments, with cash‑basis rent increases of 9.1% for office and 3.0% for retail. Liquidity stood at $609.7 million, including an undrawn $500 million revolver under its amended $600 million credit facility, and a quarterly dividend of $0.34 per share was declared.

AerCap Holdings N.V. recorded a second‑quarter 2026 net profit of $726 million ($4.59 per share), a 15% increase in revenue to $2.17 billion, and ended the period with $1.8 billion in cash and cash equivalents. The company raised its full‑year adjusted EPS guidance to $16.80 and announced a purchase order for 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners for delivery between 2030 and 2033. Its portfolio comprised 3,567 aircraft, engines and helicopters, with an average owned passenger fleet age of 7.4 years.

Janus Henderson Group PLC increased its stake in Arista Networks, Inc. by 44.5% in the first quarter, bringing its holding to 4.88 million shares (about 0.39% of the company) valued at roughly $599 million.
