American Athletic Conference Honors Over 300 East Carolina Student-Athletes

The American Athletic Conference announced that more than 300 East Carolina University (ECU) student‑athletes were named to the 2025‑26 Academic Honor Roll, marking the second consecutive year the university achieved that milestone. ECU had full academic representation on several teams, including baseball, men’s cross country, men’s golf and women’s golf, with each sport posting 100 % of its roster on the All‑Academic Team.

Separately, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) placed 234 of its student‑athletes on the conference’s All‑Academic Team, covering all 14 of its American Conference‑affiliated programs. Football and baseball led the selections, and several UAB teams earned the league’s highest team GPAs, earning conference and national academic awards.
