American Boarding School Expo Tokyo 2026 to feature 29 elite schools

The American Boarding School Expo Tokyo 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 12, 2026, at the Akasaka Intercity Conference in Tokyo. Organized by Boarding School Consulting in collaboration with the Boston-based EdTech search engine FindingSchool, the event will feature admissions representatives from 29 prestigious American boarding schools.

Supported by the U.S. Commercial Service, the expo aims to provide elementary, middle, and high school students, along with their parents and educators, the opportunity to consult directly with school officials. Participants can inquire about school culture, educational policies, dormitory life, support for international students, and university placement outcomes. The event will also include panel discussions led by admissions officers to discuss the characteristics of U.S. boarding schools and key considerations for school selection.

Participating institutions include members of the ‘Ten Schools’ group, such as Choate Rosemary Hall and St. Paul’s School, alongside others like Middlesex School, Northfield Mount Hermon, and The Peddie School. The expo will offer various options, including co-educational, all-boys, all-girls, and junior boarding schools. Interpreter support will be available for those concerned about communicating in English. Attendance is free, but prior registration is required.
