American Buffalo returns to Theatro Simeo

The play ‘American Buffalo’ by David Mamet is returning to Theatro Simeo for a second run, starting Monday, November 2. Directed by Giannis Bezos, the production explores themes of moral erosion, the deconstruction of the American dream, and the complexities of friendship and betrayal.

Set in an American junk shop during the 1970s, the story follows three men caught in a cycle of failed schemes and illusions of success. Giorgos Ninios stars in the lead role, portraying a character caught between cynicism and a need for human connection. He is joined by Antonis Krompas and Stavros Tsoumanis in a performance described as an explosive triangle of fear, frustration, and underlying vulnerability.
