American Cruise Lines christens American Ranger on Hudson River
American Cruise Lines has officially christened its newest vessel, the American Ranger, on the Hudson River. The ceremony took place on September 24 at Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, New York. The ship is the third new vessel launched by the company this year and the fourth in its Patriot Class series.
Serving as the ship’s godmother was Susan Renner, the company’s Treasurer and Board Chair. The American Ranger features four decks and can accommodate 130 passengers in private balcony staterooms. It offers amenities such as a fitness center, a main restaurant, and a top deck lounge with a walking track.
Following this launch, the company plans further fleet expansion. In 2027, American Cruise Lines intends to introduce three additional ships: the American Mariner, the American Navigator, and the American Anthem. The American Ranger will operate seasonal itineraries connecting New York City and Albany.
