American Express and Bread Financial launch NFL rewards program

American Express and Bread Financial have launched the NFL Extra Points Credit Card rewards program. This initiative expands upon a partnership that will establish American Express as the official payments partner of the NFL beginning in the 2026 season.

Under the new arrangement, 18 NFL teams have launched cards on the American Express Network, with Bread Financial serving as the issuer. The program features refreshed card designs for the various teams and offers specific rewards, including 3% back on qualifying NFL and team purchases, 2% rewards on categories such as groceries, restaurants, and food delivery, and a 25% discount on certain NFL eCommerce purchases.
